Job Title: Senior Accountant – Client Accounting Services (CAS) & Tax
Location: Bozeman, MT
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 DOE
JOB OVERVIEW:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles. The Senior Accountant will oversee various financial functions, ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations, and provide valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Tax Preparation: May jump in to assist the compliance team with income tax preparation.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process by providing financial insights and supporting data analysis.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise, support decision-making, and drive organizational success.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience. Public accounting experience preferred.
- CPA certification is preferred or CPA eligible. If a CPA is acquired while working for us, we offer a bonus and celebrate this accomplishment.
- Experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- QuickBooks Online experience required. Gusto experience is a plus.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
COMPENSATION:
- Do you want the sky to be your limit? We offer it. This position range starts at $57,000 – 77,000, with the opportunity to build compensation based on book of business growth and organization contribution.
