Sydni Tangaro, CPA
Tax Director

Sydni received her accounting degree from Montana State University and started her career with a fantastic firm in Florida. She has loved public accounting since then. She enjoys working on a variety of challenges with different people and companies and in the process helping them achieve their financial goals. Sydni started her firm, Tangaro & Company CPAs PLLC, in May 2017.  In November 2024, Tangaro & Company merged with FNCH Financial & Consulting and Sydni is the Tax Director for FNCH.

Sydni believes in working hard and playing hard. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, hiking, reading, and watching movies.

Mitch Heidemann
Controller

Mitchell Heidemann, originally from Green Bay, WI, spent seven transformative years in Whitehall, Montana, while pursuing his education at Montana State University. As a Virtual Controller at FNCH Consulting, Mitch brings over five years of experience working with small and medium-sized businesses. Specializing in the restaurant and retail sectors and tax preparation, he excels in cleaning up historical financial data and streamlining processes for efficient month-end closes. Mitch holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in accounting from Montana State University. His professional affiliations include MSCPA, WICPA, and ACIPA. Known for his ‘client first’ philosophy, Mitch thrives on becoming an integral part of his clients’ teams. He believes true success is achieved when clients feel he is part of their journey, celebrating their victories as his own. His commitment extends beyond work, as he has volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters, reflecting his dedication to community service. Outside the office, Mitch indulges in his passions for vintage computer collection, woodworking, stained glass projects, and reading, bringing a diverse and creative perspective to his professional life.

Brooke Mortensen
Accounting Navigator

Born and raised in Montana, Brooke brings 18 years of experience specializing in client advisory services. Holding dual degrees in Accounting and Psychology from Montana State University, she brings a distinctive blend of analytical precision and understanding of human behavior to her work. With a passion for technology and its efficiencies, Brooke is dedicated to industry advancements helping deliver tailored solutions that meet client’s evolving needs.

Recognizing detail and bringing adept problem-solving skills, Brooke embraces implementing changes to streamline processes and procedures enhancing accuracy in financial analysis allowing clients to focus on their core business. Known for her dedication as both a wife and mother, she brings a unique perspective to her work, founded with the values of family and commitment.

NICQUO HOPE | Account Manager

As an experienced account manager with a strong background in non-profit and governmental accounting, Nicquo has built a career in managing complex accounts, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and detail. Whether balancing budgets, streamlining processes, or working directly with clients, Nicquo excels at delivering results and making a positive impact.

From Montana, Nicquo enjoys embracing the outdoors, exploring nature, and spending quality time with family. Outside work, baking and experimenting with new recipes provide a creative and relaxing outlet, combining a love for precision and a passion for trying something new.

Becca Huyard, CPA Controller

Becca Huyard, based in Livingston, Montana, is an Outsourced Controller and Senior Tax Accountant at FNCH Consulting, where she applies her deep expertise in financial accounting and tax preparation. She focuses on providing tailored accounting services to small and medium-sized businesses in various industries including e-commerce, retail, and financial services, helping them streamline their accounting processes and enhance their financial operations. Her extensive knowledge of tax preparation and accounting best practices allows her to provide clients with tailored solutions that optimize financial performance. Becca is a licensed CPA with a degree in Accounting and a minor in Sustainability Studies from Point Loma Nazarene University. Known for her hands-on approach and commitment to her clients’ success, Becca takes pride in becoming an integral part of each business she works with. Outside of her professional life, Becca enjoys the great outdoors and often spends her free time hunting with her dog, Pippin, mountain biking, skiing, and hiking in the Montana wilderness. Her love for nature fuels her adventurous spirit, both in life and work.

Alexis Bryan Financial Operations Integrator

With a psychology degree and experience in mental health operations, Alexis approaches company optimization with an understanding of human behavior, operational dynamics and process improvement strategies essential to building effective company processes. Alexis enjoys the analytical nature of operational management and the accounting industry.

As a fifth generation Gallatin Valley resident, when not in the office, you can find Alexis enjoying the great outdoors of Montana with her dogs Shep and Gillian.

With 25 years of experience in payroll, Jamie Scott has expertise in payroll management, compliance, and process optimization.  Her career has spanned various industries, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll operations while adapting to ever-evolving regulations. Jamie’s role at FNCH Consulting as a Payroll Specialist is to collaborate with clients to streamline payroll operations, resolve discrepancies, and implement best practices for efficiency and compliance. Beyond her professional life, Jamie enjoys cooking, entertaining, camping, scuba diving, traveling, and much more!
